Grounds Maintenance

The Seasonal Grounds Maintenance position is responsible for equipment operation, golf course maintenance, and general upkeep around the course.

This position requires a person to be able to work independently, manage their time wisely, and operate heavy machinery in a safe manner.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

• Positive attitude.

• Strong work ethic.

• Strong communication skills.

• High level of attention to detail.

• Mowing/Grounds Knowledge

• Supervisory/Leadership experience.

• Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Previous experience in a related position preferred - We will train.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and climbing stairs/step stool.

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

• Walking and/or standing for extended periods of time.

Work Environment:

• Exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.

• Work in variable weather conditions.

• Noise level can be high at times.

• Uneven surfaces.

Evening Shift Line Cook

Our ideal candidate enjoys variety, can multi-task and prioritize multiple responsibilities, and produce high quality plates both design and taste wise.

Line cook's are responsible for all food production required for member and guest dining, private parties, special events and off-site catering.

This position is for someone who likes to get to know who they are cooking for and will further elevate the program here at Princeton Golf Course.

Skills/Qualifications

• Kitchen Experience

• Demonstrated quality written, verbal, ad interpersonal communication skills.

• Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations/Customer Service.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.

• State Certified and/or Serve Safe Certified preferably.

• Ability to analyze and problem solve; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Expedite during peak service hours.

• Help the head chef prepare all necessary data for the budget, project annual food and labor costs.

• Enforce proper uniform procedures and set a good example.

• Work in any stations as needed.

• Cooking and putting together plates.

• Prep kitchen and supplies for the day.

• Maintain a well-functioning, sanitary kitchen and communicate any needed improvements for the kitchen to upper management.
